Kim's Notes

Relais Trevi 95 Boutique Hotel is where I stay in Rome when I don’t want to deal with a car, and it’s hands-down my favorite 4-star hotel in the city. So often, I stay in hotels that feel removed from the action, which means spending extra time getting to the sights. However, with Relais Trevi 95, you wake up right in the middle of it all. You step outside and you’re instantly surrounded by the energy of Rome, which makes the entire trip feel easier, more exciting, and far more “Roman” from the very start.

Despite being in the thick of things, the rooms are surprisingly peaceful. In fact, they’re soundproof, and it’s details like that that make this place feel special. After a full day of sightseeing, it’s such a relief to return to a room that’s quiet, comfortable, and genuinely relaxing. Additionally, the beds are super comfortable, the modern bathroom has a shower you can actually move around in, and the boutique design has a warm charm that makes you feel happy to be there. It’s the kind of hotel where, if you take a break from exploring, you still feel like you’re enjoying your trip because the hotel itself is a vibe.

Most importantly, breakfast is one of my favorite parts of staying here. Unlike many hotels that offer only a continental spread of sweets and pastries, breakfast at Relais Trevi 95 feels more complete and satisfying. Consequently, it’s the perfect way to start your day before heading out to explore Rome. You’ll see my breakfast photos below, and once you do, you’ll understand why I look forward to mornings here. On top of that, I love the little extras that make the stay feel fun and memorable, like the €2 minibar and an Aperol Spritz on the rooftop. Altogether, it’s easy to see why I keep coming back — and why I think you’ll love it too.

Relais Trevi 95 Deluxe Double City View Room
Double Deluxe with City View

My Recommendation
I’ve stayed in several room categories here, and my personal favorite is the Double Deluxe with City View. It isn’t the cheapest option, but it’s a great balance of comfort and value — and feels like a true upgrade. If you’re keeping things budget-friendly, the Double or Twin Superior is the least expensive and perfectly fine for a short stay. Want to splurge? Go for the Junior Suite with Balcony for that extra “Rome luxury” feeling — just expect to pay about $200 more per night for the balcony experience. Click to check pricing online.
